"Taking science to the streets"
"Art as a popularizer of science"
What are Ch.ACO Sessions?
It is a program about Chilean contemporary art that is transmitted from the National Library, in which its first season addresses themes from the world of science. It is carried out in conjunction with different universities throughout the country, evidencing its great development, and is transmitted through Channel 13C by its national and international signal. It is an inspiring program that humanizes knowledge and brings it closer to a wide audience.
The program is developed through conversations that address the link of the arts with sustainability, energy, heritage and innovation through a dialogue between different specialists in art and science. This generates a staging never seen before, between universities, scientists and artists, exploring new areas of knowledge and innovations to awaken a collective interest.
Through this project, Ch.ACO generates a link between art, innovation and technology, becoming part of the new developments in these areas that have marked the era and the agenda in which we live. Sustainability has become one of the axes in our work and universities are great agents that contribute to us in this area. The first chapters are carried out in collaboration with the Austral University, the University of the Americas, the Adolfo Ibáñez University, among others. This season has the support of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation, 3xi and the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center (GAM).
