Ch.ACO marks a milestone by becoming an itinerant project that this year takes place at Las Condes Design center. For this reason, it is decided that a building under construction should be used in order to combine this way, the best of contemporary art with Santiago's real estate market.
22,000 people attend this event, who enjoy the exhibition of 14 national and 17 international galleries.
This time, Ch.ACO invites curators and collectors to rethink contents, and three new sections are born from this: Focus, a space for dialogue among artists in charge of curator Cecilia Fajardo-Hill, in which 8 galleries took part; Planta, an exhibition of 8 Latin American projects with new management models by Carolina Castro; and Nave Ediciones, a space for publishing houses and publications specialized in contemporary art in charge of editor Camila Opazo.
The already traditional discussion panel program by the FAVA Foundation focuses on "Collection, collecting, collectable", for which Magali Arriola, Eduardo Brandao, Ellie Buttrose, Jaime Cerón, Soledad García Saavedra, Voluspa Jarpa, Miguel Leal Rios, Fréderic Paul y Alberto Rebaza, among others are invited.
